Stewart Warrender - Accordion
Scottish Dance music was always around in Stewart's home and he began playing the accordion at the age of 7. Stewart has performed extensively throughout the UK both as a solo artist and in various bands, nurturing his enthusiasm for composing and arranging.
Stewart has toured Romania and Germany along-side Sheena Wellington, appearing on Romanian TV as well as Grampian TV's Northern Nights; he has also appeared on Japanese TV!
As well as playing in Nackytoosh Stewart is also in demand from local dance groups and plays regularly for both Country Dance and Ceilidh Dance classes and can be found most Wednesday evenings teaching piano accordion at traditional music workshops in Kennoway.
With his own style of dance calling, Stewart can guide you through the dances, or simply recap for the more experienced audiences.
