30.11.11  Nackytoosh to play at “Bells at the Byre” 2011

 

Nackytoosh are pleased to announce that they have been confirmed to play at this year’s “Bells at the Byre” event being held in the Byre Theatre, St. Andrews on Saturday 31st December 2011.

After three sold out years, Bells at the Byre is back for a fourth time with even more great food, great dancing and great fun as you welcome in 2012.

 

Time(s) of Event: 7pm  Dinner; 9.30pm Ceilidh

11.08.11  Stephen’s Guitar Tutoring Website up and running

 

Stephen Hamilton is a guitar tutor located in Dunfermline, Fife offering tuition in classical, Electric and acoustic guitar, and in a number of styles: rock ‘n’ pop, classical, and jazz, as well as lessons in music theory.

07.04.11  Learn to play Piano Accordion with Stewart Warrender

 

Do you have a piano accordion at home - perhaps belonging to yourself or another family member - which lies in a cupboard unplayed?
Or, are you a current player who would like to improve your skills?
If so, why not come to Stewart's accordion classes and enjoy this popular instrument?

The class meets next on Tuesday 19th April 2011 from 7pm to 9pm in Kennoway Community School, Kennoway, Fife. Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced players are welcome.

Prices are £5.60 per session (half price for 'Fifestyle' cardholders).

Music reading ability would be useful but not essential (tuition will be given).

Pump up the Accordion is reviewed in the June issue of The Scots Magazine.

The album has received a great review from the magazine and the additional

publicity generated by this review is welcomed by the band.

08.02.10  Pump up the Accordion Released!!!

 

Today (February 8th 2010) “Pump up the Accordion” is released on CD

and download.

The band would like to thank everyone who came along and supported

them on Saturday night at the special ceilidh to mark the release of the

album. A great night was had by all and it was great seeing so many family,

friends & locals come out and support the boys.

 

The album can be bought on CD from the online shop and links to download

sites are also listed. More download sites are coming and we will update

the links when new download streams become available.
