Glenlivet 10k Run – Over £1600 raised in memory of Stephen

Five of Stephen’s classmates from his music therapy course at Queen Margaret University took part in the Glenlivet 10k run on Sunday 14th April 2013.

The girls raised over £1600 for Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland in memory of Stephen. The girls all completed the 10k route and we hope their legs were not too sore at the finish line.

Five Run The Glenlivet 10k In Memory Of Stephen Hamilton

Five of Stephen’s classmates from his Music Therapy course at Queen Margaret University are embarking on the Glenlivet 10k run on Sunday 14th April 2013.

They will be raising funds for Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland in memory of Stephen.

Here is a short message from them:

“Stephen was one of our classmates on the music therapy course at Queen Margaret University. Stephen died on the 25th May 2012 just after completing his first year of the degree after complications following a heart by-pass operation.

As we are nearing the end of our course we wanted to do something to remember him before we all go our separate ways, whilst supporting the work of such a great charity.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated, thank you!”

We would like to wish the girls all the best with their run and fund-raising.

Nackytoosh are concerned regarding recent reports that The Byre Theatre, St. Andrews could go into liquidation.

It’s that time of year again and the nominations in the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards 2012 are open.

Nackytoosh would like to be nominated in the “Scottish Dance Band Of The Year” category and we need your help to do it.
